Diamonds. Checklist

If you want to buy a diamond, no matter the size, this checklist will come to help.

Spoiler - all these parameters are important, but not each one taken separately, they are important only when taken together.

The ideal option is to choose a diamond with the optimal combination of all parameters within a certain budget:

💎 The weight of the stone - this is perhaps the most "weighty" factor

💎 Cut - there is a big choice here - from the classic round diamonds to radiant, pear, princess, cushion, heart cuts, etc. Keep in mind that all types of square and rectangular cuts are always slightly cheaper than round and fancy cuts

💎 Color ֊ this is very important.
УColorless diamonds have a fairly wide hue scale - practically the entire English alphabet - from D to Z, and fancy diamonds have their own hue scale

💎 Clarity - this is also important, it is advisable to choose stones in which inclusions are not visible (at least) to the naked eye, especially under the table size

💎 Fluorescence - optional

💎 The quality of the cut itself - symmetry and polishing are also important, but there are many nuances here

💎 Certificate - when buying diamonds bigger than 1 carat you shoud choose stones with the certificates. Try to choose international verified laboratories - GIA, possibly HRD

Sometimes purchase of a diamond is pure mathematics - you need to add up all the important parameters, remove the not so important ones, keep in mind the completely unimportant ones and buy the perfect stone
